University Majors with the Biggest Earnings

Check out the university majors with the biggest earnings, according to a recent study.

Students who study chemical engineering will make the most money of any university major over their lifetimes, earning more than $2 million, according to a study from The Hamilton Project at the Brookings Institution.

The report- "Major Decisions: What Graduates Earn Over Their Lifetimes" -  collects data from the Census Bureau to find out which university majors yield the largest financial rewards over a graduate’s lifetime. It is rather unsurprising that engineering degrees top the list, while education and arts majors are found closer to the bottom.

Overall, the report reaffirms the significance and value of a college degree. A person with higher education will earn $1.19 million over lifetime, which is about twice what a high school graduate earns.
